With recent popularity of Ovation's new Tangent Series, and in Ovation's trademark "let's do something new" philosophy, Ovation is pleased to expand the Tangent Series to now include the new MOB guitar. The MOB model, or "My Other Board" is based on a surf-inspired design that can hold up on stage, at the beach, or on the street. The MOB features unique new sound port designs and gun metal hardware along with a Blue Surf Burst finish that wraps around the entire body and up the back of the neck. Available in mid-depth (MOB47-BSB) and supershallow (MOB57-BSB) models.

Amazing blue surf burst finish all the way around the entire body, neck, and onto the headstock. Unique stretched-oval sound ports look great and allow lighter spruce bracing on the high-pressure-laminate thin spruce top for amazing resonance, volume, and sweet timbre. Cool offset headstock design, gunmetal tuners, slick-looking bridge, and 23-fret darkened rosewood fretboard complete the killer looks while an OP30 pre-amp makes it sound great plugged in.

OP30 Pre-Amp
OP30 Rich, bright and super quiet, the OP30 raises the bar in its class. Three bands of eq plus the ability to shift the mid band to either a 450Hz or 970Hz gives you complete control over your sound. There's also a Pre-Shape circuit that not only lifts the bass and treble, but also reduces "rumble" from frequencies below 40Hz. And of course there's an on-board chromatic tuner.
